I saw all of the great reviews on this item and decided to give it a try. My window shades do not filter out enough light and so it is very bright in my room at sun rise. I tried this the first night and it was wonderful! Very soft and comfortable. I sleep on my side a lot and needed to adjust it a little, but they worked perfectly. I did not feel the strap and you and adjust it if needed. The mask BLOCKS OUT ALL LIGHT. I was able to sleep well into the morning and was awaken on my own accord and not because of the sun light.

I like to watch television while going to bed, while my wife likes it dark. I bought this for her and she loves it. Tells me its soft, comfortable, breathable and that she can’t even tell that she’s wearing it except for the blissful darkness.
I haven’t used it much just because it gets a little warm wearing it. Maybe this winter when the room is a little on the cool side … .:-)
I don’t wear a sleep mask to block out light. Apparently my eyes don’t stay closed tight while I sleep and when I wake up they are painfully dry. A sleep mask helps keep my eyes from drying out completely.
This mask is HUGE and very bulky and not even close to comfortable. I finally yanked it off in the middle of the night. I’ll hang on to it in case I ever need a neck brace.
I’m leaving a couple of stars because it does do what it’s designed to do – it blocks out light.
