Apparently my eyes don't stay closed tight while I sleep and when I wake up they are painfully dry. A sleep mask helps keep my eyes from drying out completely.<br /><br />This mask is HUGE and very bulky and not even close to comfortable. I finally yanked it off in the middle of the night. I'll hang on to it in case I ever need a neck brace.<br /><br />I'm leaving a couple of stars because it does do what it's designed to do - it blocks out light. My window shades do not filter out enough light and so it is very bright in my room at sun rise. I tried this the first night and it was wonderful! Very soft and comfortable. I sleep on my side a lot and needed to adjust it a little, but they worked perfectly. I did not feel the strap and you and adjust it if needed. The mask BLOCKS OUT ALL LIGHT.
