  College daughters loved this for on top of the standard dorm mattress. Very comfortable and good value for the price. Highly recommend using it with an extra padded mattress pad.

  My son had back surgery two years ago. This fall he became a freshman in college & the beds were extremely uncomfortable. With this memory foam mattress enhancer he is able to sleep comfortably & wakes without pain.

  Before purchasing the 3″ Visco2 Ventilated Mattress Enhancer I checked similar 3″ pads at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Their prices were higher and the pads came with outer covers. The pad sold here is just foam, nothing else. At the stores they have these 3′ to 4′ sample sections you can feel before purchasing. I laid them on the floor and put my body weight against the pad. In both stores I sunk straight to the hard tile floor. The pads were just too soft for me. The pad sold here, I found out, is about a pound more per cubic foot in density. In other words, for probably most people, you’re getting a better foam pad here for less money.

  Bed comfort is highly personal so your mileage may vary, but for me laying down on this always feels good. It’s made my bed the most comfortable and inviting it’s ever been – and that’s important because I have always had insomnia. This pad was worth every penny for me.

  Unlike others, I found no strong odor and I have a sensitive nose. Once it was on my bed and covered by a mattress pad and sheets that was it, never smelled a thing. Before using this I had slept on a foam/down combination pad that made me sweat even in winter. While this pad does seem to absorb and reflect a little more heat than my regular mattress, it’s a million times better than my old pad.

  The only negative is the lack of a cover like the kind that comes with 3″ pads at the major stores. Not enough of an issue to detract even one star given the great price and the superior product.

  This mattress has definitely improved the pain in my upper back and neck. But it is difficult to sit on it as it sinks it too much. And also very difficult to change positions if you do that while sleeping.

  But a great bonus for us was the nice big box it was sent in. The box packaging the foam was covered by another huge box. It is quite sturdy and we are now using it as a convenient table for keeping stuff/eating. It is rigid and spacious. In retrospect, this box is coming in more handy than the foam mattress itself so we are very happy. Highly recommended !

  The price of $30 seems too good to be true, but the product has been quite satisfactory through several months of use.

  The pad is very durable, will last quite a long time. I won’t have issues with ripping and torn corners like with other foam mattress pads. The shipping was very quick and all pieces I ordered arrived together.

  I bought this mattress pad in November 2008… and I slept the best I ever have since I’ve been in college. Now that I’ve graduated, and the twin xl no longer works for me, I’m going to purchase one of these for my full sized bed. As far as I’m concerned, I’m a customer for life.

  I bought this for my bed recently and I am amazed at the quality of my sleep and the comfort of my bed. My mattress used to be terrible, but then with this it feels like I’m sleeping on one of those really expensive memory foam beds. This is definitely a good purchase.

  Usually I don’t write reviews on Amazon, but this was a special occasion. See, I bought two of these pads for my college dorm room bed in hopes that they would provide a more comfortable sleeping situation. The pads are soft, yeah, definitely nowhere near memory foam status (I have no idea what the other reviews were talking about, its more of a sponge than it is memory foam), but that isn’t my biggest gripe with the product. These pads have a distinct smell of uncapped Sharpie pens. For those who don’t know what those smell like, look up the word “Carcinogen”, then you’ll have a decent idea. Not only that, but they have this faint yellow stain running down the middle of the bed. I’m not quite sure what that is, nor do I really want to know. The smell was so bad it blew past my “Fabreeze shower” and quickly stained my sheets with the smell of chemical fumes, I had to seal it away into far away place in a plastic bag to escape it.

  In short:
  DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! IT SERIOUSLY SMELLS OF CANCER. I BOUGHT TWO SO IT IS NOT JUST BY CHANCE. STAY AWAY FROM ITS TEMPTING $30 PRICE POINT.

  Please, I beg that you take this into account and actually go to a Target or something to buy a mattress pad. Stay away from these shady online dealers.

  After recieving my All sleep foam pad I was actually dissapointed. I was kind of hoping that it was tempurpedic material but it wasnt. After looking at it and testing it out with my hand it was strange it had the characteristics of a tempurpedic pad but yet wasnt. I figured after that I’d give it a chance. I put it on my bed and slept on it for a couple of nights, really nothing I could complain about. I sink into my bed and you can definately tell that the foam is there. It is extremely comfortable. I would reccomend this product but do reason it is a foam pad but not one of those old ones but rather I’d say an upgraded very similar to tempurpedic one. One thing I would suggest is if All sleep could send them out with a cover over the pad so the durability will last longer. I have only had the product for roughly a week but I could see that as being a problem even tho the pad I have hasnt shown any signs yet of breaking apart.

  I’m sure that this will come across as slight to some, but after a 24 hour grace period to let the pad expand, it was only 3.5 inches in thickness. I’m not returning the product, but if you are debating on purchasing this item then keep it in mind.

  Wish I had read warranty before buying this memory foam mattress. After 6 months, mattress has lost support and takes a long time to recover shape. We are constantly turning and rotating mattress to try to find an area that still maintains support. E-mailed company, through Amazon, and was told to read warranty. First disclaimer in warranty states that warranty DOES NOT COVER increase in softness or decrease in slow recovery (retaining shape) features. Very poor product.

  I have bought 100’s of items from amazon over the years, this is my first review; THAT is how disappointed I am with this product.

  I bought this thinking it was a 5.5lb density memory foam mattress. This is definitely NOT the case. It is more like 2lbs per foot dense. A queen size 4″ topper is 80″ x 60″ x 4″, thus it is 19,200 Cubic inches. To convert that into feet, divide that figure by 1,728 (12×12x12) = 11.11111 Cubic feet of foam. SO, at 5.5 lbs per cubic feet, this topper should way over 60 pounds. But, shipped, with box and cover, this weighs in at a scant 24 pounds!

  For someone looking for a low density memory foam topper, this may be the one. But, for those of us that think the 5.5 used in the advertisement of this topper refers to the density of the foam, they will probably be disappointed.
